Hepworth Building Products, Derbyshire
PMC Midlands designed a two portal extension at Hepworth Building Products to house a new kiln and drying room.
The existing building was demolished and civils work was carried out in conjunction with Briseco and CDS to accommodate the new kiln and drying equipment.
Work included a deep pit for the scissor lift, plus installing chimneys and kiln dryer stacks through the roof sheeting to make water tight.
The project was carried out in cooperation with British Heritage to assist in the relocation of Great Crested Newts found on the site.
